configuring SP and applications under paths

Hi,

I was able to configure apache (and several virtual hosts) and the 
service provider to secure each of the domain names.
However, there is a domain name which has different applications under 
paths, like:

www.xpto.com/app1
www.xpto.com/path2/app2

Do you have any idea how to configure apache and the service provider 
(shibboleth2.xml) to achieve this?
