Shibboleth and Oracle Hyperion/OHS/Weblogic

..have no idea about Hyperion but..

Native Weblogic can be a SAML1 SP with out tooooooo much fuss. This can
lead to the next part..

We've also had luck cracking open particular oracle delivered war files
and making them rely on the Weblogic authentication (SAML1 from above).
Generally a modification to WEB-INF/web.xml.

Alternatively to the above hackery :-) you can stand up an OIF-SP that
is an RP to your Shib IdP.
With this you can most likely tell Hyperion/OHS to be an OAM client, which is
probably what it wants anyway.

Also I believe on list others have confirmed that you can dump OHS and
use RHEL native apache which eliminates your recompile. Then just get
Weblogic to trust the remote auth coming in. Might have to dig a bit in
the archives.

HTH... or at least gets you started.

In particular I would like to know what, if any, additional steps were required beyond the standard SP installation and configuration (ie. Recompile of SP code, use of a RPS, etc)? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
