importing SP metadata

Hello all,
We have Shibboleth IdP (version 2.3.8) installed and working on SLES 11.2

SSO is working fine with one SP, and now we are looking at configuring for
another SP.
SSO with one SP that is working, all they required from us is to update
attribute-filter.xml file and they did not require us to import their
metadata file.

This new SP, requires us to import the SP metadata in our configuration.
And am looking for documentation on how to do this (import SP metadata in
IdP config)?

Can someone guide me in that direction?
