Speaking as the author and the primary writer of the existing
documentation, which sucks but which I will stack up against most open
source products, if there are specific things you found unclear or
undocumented then even throwing them on a wiki page as a list of questions
or topics that you think should be covered would be useful.

I can make an educated guess as to what some of them are, but I don't see
the point of guessing.

I happen to suspect most or all of them are already documented in some
fashion, but there's no through path to find them in an order that would
serve a beginner.
