Problem testing with sp.testshib.org

I have registered with testshib to test out a new IdP installation.
Things were working well until today. I am now seeing the following
error message in shibd.log on sp.testshib.org:

unable to locate metadata for provider
(https://sso-test.stsci.edu/idp/shibboleth)

I have uploaded my idp-metadata.xml file (renamed to a unique filename)
several times, but the problem persists.

Any ideas on how I can work through this?
