Does Java 7 U4 work with Jetty 7.3.1+?

Hi,

I am trying to determine whether a higher version of Java work with Jetty 7.3.1+ for shibboleth IdP 2.3.6? The requirement is Java 6. Any help that you could provide is helpful. Thanks.
