attributes question

Hello all,
I am trying to understand how attributes are released, and I am following document from Shibboleth workshop series located here:
https://spaces.internet2.edu/display/ShibInstallFest/Shibboleth+Workshop+Series+-+Linux+Identity+Provider+%28Centos+6.2%29

When I have login.config and attribute-resolver.xml setup with ldap://idp.training.incommon.org, I can see following attributes:
Given Name:
Surname:
Common Name:
eduPersonPrincipalName (EPPN):
Email Address:

But, when I update these files (login.config and attribute-resolver.xml) and point to our test LDAP server here, I only see following attributes:
Common Name:
eduPersonPrincipalName (EPPN):
Email Address:

I am seeing these attributes on this page: https://sp.training.incommon.org/secure

Our LDAP server is Sun DSEE 7.1 as it is running on Solaris 10 (SPARC)
Running IdP on SLES 11.2
