SP 2.5 Official Release date?

Queen's University is undertaking a large migration from our existing web SSO system to Shibboleth. The intention is to have it generally completed by September. The transformation of attributes in the SP is of particular interest to me, but as far as I can tell only available in 2.5.

Is there an estimated release date? I don't mind using a dev copy if it means a production release is around the bend.
