Shib and mod_ajp

I apologize up front for asking a fairly basic question, I've tried to 
googling for it but haven't found anything yet.

I have my test Shib SP working on port 443.  Everything works as 
expected, but now I want to add in my standard
mod_ajp configuration.  So that the secure resources accessed by the 
browser can be proxied to my application server.

What do i need to do in my httpd conf file to get shib to handle the 
request first and then pass it on to mod_ajp currently set to listen on 
443 also?
