ADSF Claims questions

My understanding of Claims based ADSF is that the SP must supply a list
of claims (SAML Attributes) that the IDP can then match its internal
properties against.

According to the docs Shibboleth SP should support the ability to define
a set of attributes with a special "Claim" name?
