Please anyone clarify for me

I have set up single sign on for office 365 and Google Apps using ADFS (in
federated server)

I wish provide single sign on to google apps using Shibboleth as well. Is it
mandatory to implement Shibobleth in federated server or any other server
which is in the same domain irrespective of Active directory will not be
there in that server.

Kindly clarify
