Questions Regarding Shibboleth and Salesforce

Hi,

I'm in the process of trying to configure Shibboleth 2.3.6 with Salesforce, has anyone gotten these 2 to work, if so what was need to have them work together.

Also in the configuration process for Salesforce it asks for you to provide a saml assertion to validate, does anyone have way to obtain or generate this assertion from shibboleth.
