initial set up question

So I got my SP installed and I think it's working because i can get to 
http://localhost/Shibboleth.sso/Status and see an xml file.

I have a question about what I am seeing though.

Near the top this line appears
<NonWindows sysname="Linux" nodename="xxx.xxxx.com" 
release="2.6.18-194.3.1.el5" version="#1 SMP Sun May 2 04:17:42 EDT 
2010" machine="x86_64"/>

nodame is not the name of the site i want to protect with sp, it's the 
hostname of the machine which hosts multiple virtual hosts.

It also shows up in other lines like so

<ds:KeyName>xxx.xxxx.com</ds:KeyName>
<ds:X509Data>
<ds:X509SubjectName>CN=xxx.xxxx.com</ds:X509SubjectName>

I changed the hostname of the machine to match the url of the site I 
want to protect but even after restarging shibboleth those settings 
didn't change. Is that fact going to cause problems? If so how do i go 
about changing it? Is having multiple virtual hosts on the machines 
going to cause trouble if I jut want to protect one of the sites?
