Thanks. I've been in touch with Eduserv and the UK Federation helpdesk also. Our requirements are complex and I find it hard to ask the right questions. :-)

I will try the JISC list also.

Oh, and you may want to contact the UK helpdesk.  They'll have experience with the various Athens products that people on here do not so they might be able to better guide you towards which knobs you need to turn on both pieces of software to get what you want.
