Discovery Service/WAYF v1.2.1 Shibboleth service provider and simpleSAMLphp - cannot recognize federation metadata

So the usual sort of questions - 
- what does logging show?  
- Are you sure you are editing the correct config file (try breaking it)?
- What happens if you download the file by hand and point to it?

I know that the metadata that at the location you sent me offlist works, so it has to be a configuration issue...
