That is of course precisely why we need to continue the struggle with
vendors to "Do Federation Right." And lest there be any doubt,
discovery is almost always the first point of contention (as it is in
this case). The more people that understand the difficulties of
discovery, the better chance we'll have of convincing the vendor that
it is inevitable.
