Hmm, then I am not sure what happened, I didn't change anything on my 
side other than restart shibboleth. When I first went to the site it 
gave me a warning about the security certificate not being trusted (The 
certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is not 
trusted.), i added an exception in my browser and then was able to connect.
