IdP 2.2.1 (with ECP) and long transactions

There are certainly deployments that pump a lot of requests per time
period through the IdP and through ECP in particular, so my initial
feeling is that it's more likely a config error than a bug. I would
recommend you use jstat on the JVM to see exactly what it's doing and
which threads are currently waiting where.
