separating transactions in idp-process.log?

Is it possible to have tomcat / the IdP tag the log entries with the IP
address of the machine's it processing a request for?  Or some way to more
easily differentiate one requests from others that are simultaneously being
processed?  I'm having a heck of a time tracking down the all of the pieces
of requests that are throwing ERRORs in our idp-process.log
