Not per se, but the Troubleshooting topics in the wiki have some advice on
approaching issues and the list.

Other than that, the usuals apply, don't post large logs, don't reply to
unrelated messages, don't spend a lot of time asking us to teach you
Tomcat or Apache, etc.

Shibboleth is not an implementation that shields you from SAML either, so
grounding in the standard is going to be a requirement sooner rather than
later.
