relying-party.xml and LoginHandlers

Hello All,

I am in the process of deploying a new IDP (v2.3.5)  using the 
RemoteUser, UsernamePassword, and PreviousSession login handlers.  In 
previous installs I have only used UsernamePassword & PreviousSession 
and not specified a  defaultAuthenticationMethod in my relying-party.xml 
file.  What I have noticed during testing is that I get an athentication 
error when not specifying a defaultAuthenticationMethod in my 
DefaultRelyingParty tags.  I solved the problem by specifying a 
defaultAuthenticationMethod.  The problem is that it seems that the 
PreviousSession handler is not getting used.

My question, is there a way to chain default login handlers in the 
DefaultRelyingParty tags?  If not can someone point me to documentation 
detailing how login handlers are selected for RelyingParties.
