X-Forwarded-For on the IdP

This doesn't have anything to do with the IdP.  It just uses the IP
address given to it by the container.  So you need to refer to your
container's docs and see how to deal with the situation you're
describing.  Whether it's a new feature will depend on whether they
currently support it or not.
