updating login.jsp

Greetings,

I am trying to update the main login page to an IDP connection that I have to a test SciQuest SP.  I had this site up and running correctly.  When I follow the instructions below it breaks the site even after putting the original working login.jsp back and following the procedure again.


To customize the main page.
Go to C:\install files\shibboleth-identityprovider-2.1.5.okcorral\src\main\webapp
Edit login.jsp  Make whatever changes are needed.
Open Command Prompt and recompile Shibboleth by going to C:\install files\shibboleth-identityprovider-2.1.5.okcorral in dos command and running the following command: install

it wil ask me where the shib id provider software is to be installed
and it will say c:\opt\shibboleth-idp-email.okstate.edu
hit enter
now it will ask me if I want to overwrite
say no

Can anyone tell me what is causing this?
