--build --host and --target values

Nothing; whatever is telling you they're required is mistaken. Something
else is wrong.

Solaris requires a tremendous amount of expertise to build on. Expect a
large amount of effort if you don't have that skill set at hand. That
said, nobody has reported anything like that before.
