Well, I would guess you're wrong about where the switch occurs. The SP has
no state about the request to the IdP, so any error involving SP state
occurs after the POST back to one SP when it tries to read back the
session on the second SP.

Secondly, you cannot do this unless you cluster the SP or figure something
else out.
