Thanks, Dave. Unfortunately that won't work as we need first and last name separate and displayname is a combination of those...

If givenName is multi-valued, ask if they offer displayName which is single-valued.

In a typical scenario where I get a single value, it allows us to greet the user by name on the site as well as personalize other elements. In this instance, with multiple values, how do I know which value to use? Should the school in question make that determination and apprise me? Or is there a generally accepted approach for this?
