The cause is exactly what the message says. I can't tell you why a
particular browser issues a GET instead of a POST, or possibly a GET in
addition to a POST. That might depend on web server behavior, caching
issues, network factors, etc. You would have to trace the HTTP layer and
figure out what the browser is doing.

There is no such SP version, and it would be ridiculous if this was really
2.1. You'd also have much bigger problems to deal with. However, if it's
anything older than 2.4.3, then you should first upgrade it to 2.5 and
reproduce the issue before wasting more of your time on it (and because
your server is wide open to attack).
