Custom SP error messages

Greetings,

We run shib IdP v2.3.8.  Our users are reporting intermittent errors on 
an external SP:
"Shibboleth Error: Shibboleth Extension not configured for web site 
(check ISAPI mappings in SP configuration)".

It's a load balanced service and I'm wondering if it occurs on a 
specific node.  I'd like to ask the service provider to customize the 
error messages to include the hostname of the SP.  Is this possible?  
Can someone point me in the right direction (pertinent URL doc)?
