I just took what the OpenSSO gave me. As Scott said, it does not make a difference.

No, don't know about an AttritributeDecoder.
The example shibboleth.xml with the Apache version of the SP had these LDAP
attributes commented out. All I did was uncomment them, and add the
extra uid attributes. and modify the REMOTE_USER= to add uid.
