tying attribute population to specific SPs

Pretty much all of our IdP data is derived from our campus's  
enterprise directory.

We have a specific SP that is going to need to retrieve data from a  
separate data source.  Is it possible to limit the IdP such that it  
only queries the dataConnector when that specific SP's session is  
being established?  What I'd really like is the ability to  
conditionally use a dataConnector (i.e. only query the alumni data  
source if we're going to the alumni association SP).

I know I could use a scripted attribute to check the requester Id and  
only continue if right conditions are met.. but it seems to me that if  
I do that, I need to handle the attribute retrieval in the script as  
well.
