Your container is not loading the right Xerces jars, so whatever you did
in that area is apparently broken.

If you had to change permissions, you installed the IdP as a different
user than you're running it under. The other part I've never heard of.
Endorsement depends on a Java system property. It certainly won't happen
*only* by manipulating that file. There should be a standard location it's
already endorsing, or you have to modify its startup.
