The log you posted before demonstrates no involvement by the SP after IdP
authentication. No response, no session, no nothing. You haven't
configured it to protect content or there's something wrong with the
response location the IdP is returning you to.

If you have different log information and/or a tran log entry indicating
it's creating a session and caching attributes, then that's a different
matter.

The ultimate determination of what's in place after the IdP returns
control to the SP is self-evident from /Shibboleth.sso/Session
