sp listenerException

Hi all..

I'm working with an outsourced vendor here and I want to verify my
thinking on this is correct.

First off the shibboleth exchange / workflow does work I can see people
authenticating and can get into the application myself. So I know things
do /work/..

Now, semester start up is here and app is getting busy, where we 
are getting calls from users is occasionally the SP throws up the
error listed below. I know the vendor is providing a 
clustered environment but I have not verified if they are trying to
cluster the SP or not ..I'm guessing not.. 
My initial thoughts on this are that each node is isolated (not
clustered) and there is a mismatch when the user returns from the IdP.

Options I'm thinking are to have vendor fix the initial balancer session
affinity to keep initial calls tied to one node. Then as normal let the
apps idea of a session take over.

Again just want to get some feedback on my thoughts on this. 
Kinda sucks not having access to full logs :-| oh well.
