Another hat in the ring:  as time allows, I'm trying to evaluate JANUS, a SimpleSAMLphp module.

I had trouble getting some of the Grails prerequisite modules set up correctly (actually had to patch at least one alpha or beta module to get it to build) for the AAF Registry, and ended up putting it down for the time being. Fair disclosure: I'm no Grails/Groovy/git wonk. YMMV.
