It would be, but at the moment it's not really possible for various
reasons (I spoke too soon). You can file the RFE, it will probably wait
for a 3.0 that changes some of the behavior enough to accommodate it.

The reason it's a problem is that changing header names changes the set of
headers the system has to guard from spoofing.
