I don't have IE9 handy but will try to get it installed for testing purposes. Could you please share your assumption?

Thanks

I have an assumption.
Could you test it with IE9?
If it works with IE9, my assumption is probably true.

Hi all,

We are trying to modify the default login.jsp that comes packaged with IDP. During our customization we added some JavaScript code. The JS code reads and writes values to an Adobe flash object (Local Shared Object) on the client side.

When IDP is deployed on machine running Tomcat 6.0 the page works fine in Firefox and Chrome. In Internet Explorer the page/javascript functions do not behave as expected.
The strange part is that when I move my JSP to a different folder in the webapps directory, meaning outside the idp's context, it then works in all browsers.

The following URL does not work in Internet Explorer but works in Firefox and Chrome.
Tomcat6.0\webapps\IDP\login.jsp

Now if I move the JSP to another location in webapps the JSP works fine in all browsers.
Tomcat6.0\webapps\test\login.jsp

Browser versions part of my development are
Internet Explorer 8
Firefox 5
Chrome 13

I am really perplexed as to what the problem is. Just as a shot in the dark, is there some browser specific filtering done in IDP?

Thanks
