Do you have another page import on that login page to import LoginContext? The snippet does not show it. Another thought is to delete the Tomcat work directory contents (assuming you are using Tomcat). Any disk space issues? Lack of disk space will cause Tomcat to be unable to compile the jsp into class files and can throw some weird errors. Finally I would look at the web server logs, as opposed to the Shib logs. They might give a better clue.

Subject: idp issue
I am having a issue with one of my idp nodes. I have two nodes and they are exact copies of each other. One is running fine. The other is giving me an error saying
LoginContext cannot be resolved to a type
7: <%@page import="java.net.*" %>
8:
9: <%
10: LoginContext loginContext = HttpServletHelper.getLoginContext(HttpServletHelper.getStorageService(application),
11: application, request);
12: Session userSession = HttpServletHelper.getUserSession(request);
13: %>
and I get a blank screen when i go to the login page. My OS i RHEL 6. Any suggestions?
