Further IDP and Firefox Security Warning Message Questions

The Firefox pop up is because the IdP site is protected by SSL but the SP
site is not. The IdP returns a web page to the browser as the response to
submitting the credentials. That page has no visible content, but does
have a form that gets submitted to your SP. Since the content being
submitted to the SP comes from a protected site and is then being
submitted to a non-protected site. That causes your pop up warning.
