LDAP DataConnector -- binding with user credentials

Hello,

Sorry to ask a question that may have been answered elsewhere.

We have a Active Directory LDAP server.

We would like to be able to pass on a unique number in employeeID to a service 
provider.

The only way this can happen is if binding happens with the user's 
login/password info, instead of the 

principal=
principalCredential=

service account method.

Then, we want to pass this onto the SP, so we have to choose an appropriate 
attribute.

How can this be done?
