He and I may disagree on that, but I definitely didn't see the suggestion as an improvement.

It really doesn't read well to me that way.

I really felt the text as is was as good as any suggestion made so far. I don't obviously care that much what the text says in other languages, if there are clearer ways to state it that's fine with me. The translation doesn't have to be literal.

I probably would have just closed the issue out but I was leaving it open in case a suggestion was made that I was ok with.
