</span>Nothing very complicated, I was just suggesting that you when run your test in a debugger and you get to that line you do a "step-into" (F5 in eclipse). Then walk through the OpenSAML code to see why null was being returned. All the sources for OpenSAML are available so this is a very easy operation. In my other life I spend a lot of time stepping through code at the assembler level because the code is not available and that is why I commented that this was so easy.<br>

When you do this you will see what Brent means by "bootstrapping". I suggest really strongly that you do this; it is always good engineering practice to have a good background understanding of how your tools work.<br>
