    You can read the details in the issue[1].  I think I have this

    figured out. Turned out to be pretty easy, and not messy at all. 

    Except for unit testing, the socket factory is pretty much done. I

    have tested locally.<br>

    Would now just need to teach the relevant components that use

    HttpClient to have/obtain/build TrustEngine and CriteriaSet

    instances and then do the right thing with populating the context. 

    I doubt I'll get that part done before I leave on Friday, but at

    this point, unless I've missed something, it's just "work" work, not

    "figure out how the hell to do it" work.<br>
