<div dir="ltr"><br><div> For what it is worth, I worked on a project that used SSP for the Service Provider on a PHP based CMS, with Shib as the Identity Provider (using an LDAP backend). It worked fine, though eventually I rewrote it to use the Apache NativeSP and bypassed the SSP SP libraries. I felt that using the Apache NativeSP was cleaner than leaving all that PHP based SSP code available to handle the SP endpoints.</div>
<div><br></div><div> It was all in SAML 2.0 and worked fine. I didn't try using the SSP provided discovery service, and I didn't try using the Apache NativeSP against a SSP Identity Provider, though I wouldn't expect it to be much of an issue so long as you were using compatible SAML versions.</div>

</div>I still have no idea what you're asking. "Web service" is meaningless in<br>
this context, and you haven't explained in any way what you think<br>
"interoperability" means. It doesn't mean what it means to other people or<br>
you wouldn't be asking.<br>
