<p dir="ltr">OK. Should i file a bug report going here <a href="https://issues.shibboleth.net/jira/browse/SSPCPP">https://issues.shibboleth.net/jira/browse/SSPCPP</a>? This behavior is consistent. </p><p dir="ltr">Do i need to capture any information before and after the upgrade? like detailed logs..etc</p>

Neither. Even the failed renamed upgrade package that's been fixed didn't<br>

when I upgraded either, not on any test system or in production.<br>

*That* is new. That file used to be overwritten, now it's saved. The rest<br>
of the configuration files in /etc were already protected.<br>
