Is there reason to doubt that glassfish/domains/domain1/lib/endorsed wouldn't work? That would make the endorsed libs local to domain1 instead of glassfish-wide.<div><br></div><div>The good news is, managed to get past this (and into the next problem). The bad news is I've no idea what fixed it; just fiddling version numbers AFAIK.</div>

With Glassfish, I believe you can put jars inside the main lib installation directory, outside of the domain. We're using Glassfish and have put some general jars (like log4j) in there and they've been picked up ok.<br>
