The Shibboleth project is pleased to announce an alpha release of the WebAuthn authentication plugin [1] for testing. To install, inside the ${idp.home}/bin directory, run the following command (plugin.bat in Windows):

./plugin.sh -i https://shibboleth.net/downloads/prerelease/idp-plugin-webauthn-0.0.1.tar.gz —noCheck

Find information on installing and upgrading alpha, beta, and snapshot plugins in [2].

The alpha release of the plugin is for testing purposes only and should not be used in production. Early testers are welcome to provide feedback and report bugs on the project's issues page [3].
