Defining a scoping element in an authentication request

Found a solution in the archives, but unfortunately only static:
Adding this to the session initiator:
<samlp:AuthnRequest>
<samlp:Scoping>
        <samlp:IDPList>
            <saml2p:IDPEntry ProviderID="xxxxx" />
        </samlp:IDPList>
    </samlp:Scoping>
</samlp:AuthnRequest>
