It's not RP config, it's for very attribute query support reversing NameIDs based on PrincipalConnectors in the resolver. Largely irrelevant today but it was still supported for the life of V3. But the warning on the bean was a mistake, it was enough to just warn on the PrincipalConnector syntax.

That's definitely never been supported.

Anybody still running an IdP should, but if you even know what jetty.xml is, you're definitely not a candidate to run an embedded copy.
