And incredibly inefficient on large directories.

I have no idea what use case could possibly be met by this that LocalDynamic doesn't handle, with the downside of the filename thing, but that's not that big a deal.

"Importance" is not a local/remote consideration, we handled "important" by dealing with reliability, making sure we have proper caching, and the ability to cache them across restarts and such. I have lots of mission-critical SPs that we rely on InCommon for. If that didn't work, obviously InCommon would be in trouble.
