Best Practices for Metadata Management

I created a set of canonical examples [1] and included them inline in
the "best practices" page. [2]

TomZ, does this help? If you have other suggestions, let me know.

Note: There is no example of LocalDynamicMetadataProvider anywhere in
the wiki. Without tools, that would seem to be premature.
